Hopeful Sling Sewing Pattern

The Hopeful Sling sewing pattern is a small crossbody bag with two zippered compartments! It's great for carrying just what you need to head out and about. This bag was designed and released thanks to the generosity of the Fiercekittenz Twitch community during the St. Jude PlayLIVE Creative season of 2020.

The downloadable PDF includes all pattern pieces and fully illustrated instructions on how to construct the bag. Note that this pattern is for advanced beginner sewists who have experience with zippers.

Dimensions:

• 9” Tall

Materials and Supplies:

• 1/4 yd exterior fabric

  • Extra ¼ yd needed if making your own straps

• 1/2 yd lining fabric

• 1/2 yd woven interfacing

• 1/4 yd fleece interfacing

• Scrap of vinyl for zipper tabs

• 1 7" #4.5 or #5 zipper

• 1 10" #4.5 or #5 zipper

• 65" 1/2" webbing

• Strap Hardware:

  • 2  1/2" d-rings

  • 1  1/2" adjustable slider

  • 2 snap hooks with 1/2" rings
