Yours Truly
Hello! I’m “Fiercekittenz” – a software engineer by day, hobby seamstress at night. I also have a knack for photography, though I don’t operate as a business any longer (you can throw a rock and hit a “photographer” these days anyway…). I decided to start blogging about my crafting, since I’ve feel I have a lot to offer the sewing and photography communities. I’ve been sewing for a little under 12 years now and primarily work with Husqvarna Viking machines. While I use patterns from the Big4 and indie pattern companies, I will oftentimes feature my own patterns that I’ve made for my children, of which I have two (little girls — I live in a glass house of drama).
If you’ve reached this blog via an old clothing tag, welcome! I used to run an Etsy shop for handmade handbags; however, my time shifted over to my children and less on sewing. Thankfully, they’re old enough now to afford me a little bit of free time to devote to my craft. The Etsy store still exists; however, it is locked for the time-being as I desperately try to stop myself from re-opening its doors.
